When I first contacted HKK Law Offices, I was facing what felt like one of the most difficult moments of my life. As a retiring military member, I finally had the opportunity to return home to Alaska after years of service—but I was facing the very real possibility that doing so could mean losing my son. I had already left Wisconsin on active-duty orders with my son and 100% placement. After nearly two years, the evidence and commitment paid off. Four months after the last day of the hearing, I received the final judge's order granting placement to be returned to me and finding the GALs recommendations unfounded and unlawful.
